Which Green energy tariff?

I've just been talking to a friend about Green energy tariff's, about which I posted up some information on the Cure Cafe recently. I've reproduced the information below, I hope it's useful if you're looking into Green tariffs! I'd be very interested to hear any comments or experience with green tariffs if you have any - please just comment on this post.

Switching to a green energy tariff is a simple and effective way of reducing your carbon emissions. However, with no verification scheme currently in place to back up suppliers claims of 'greenness', it can be a confusing process.

To improve this situation, the independent gas and electricity watchdog Energywatch are offering a 'Going Green' guide, which can be found here

Energywatch and the National Consumer Council have conducted a study on this topic. The report 'Reality or Rhetoric? Green tariffs for domestic consumers' includes useful descriptions of companies and the tariffs they offer.
