Gandhi's legacy

I've just received this by email from Resurgence Magazine, and thought I'd share it on. You can see and hear more from Satish Kumar, the presenter of the short film below, here.

"Sixty years ago today, January 30th, Gandhi was assassinated. Yet Gandhi’s teachings of social, political and ecologic non-violence, small scale local economy and production by the masses rather than mass production, are just as relevant now as they were six decades ago.

We have produced a short 7 minute film where Resurgence editor and ecologist, Satish Kumar, shows how Gandhi’s simple but profound teachings echo the core principles of ecology and sustainability."
